A&FS Training Information

There are multiple training opportunities available to learn more about the various systems managed by A&FS, including DaFIS and the Kuali Financial System (KFS).

Want to learn basic navigation skills for DaFIS or KFS but don't have time to sit through a class? The e-courses may be the perfect option! Designed to take less than an hour, you will learn things such as how to create a document, check your In Box/Action List, and how to search for documents.

• The KFS online courses are available on the The Kualification Series page.

Classroom training is designed to give in-depth coverage of a particular topic. Current topics include Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and CAMS for DaFIS and Chart of Accounts (COA) for KFS. These classes are helpful for individuals who need a good background on a particular topic. Emphasis is on real-life scenarios and how to use the systems to accomplish business objectives.

Enrollment for the classroom training is done through the campus Learning Management System. Use the Search field on the left side of the screen and enter a keyword such as DaFIS or KFS to retrieve current class offerings.

All of the exercises used in our classes are available online. You can practice with a training environment of DaFIS or KFS.

Note: The DaFIS enrollment system is no longer used for new enrollments, but you can still use it to retrieve a list of classes you previously completed.
