Term Definition

Valid Transaction A tranaction that is authorized; allocated to the proper chart, account, and object; supported by proper documentation; allowable per laws, regulations, agreements, and university policy; and is for goods or services that have been received.

Vendor An individual, partnership, or corporation that sells something or charges for a service.
