KFS Implementation Schedule

 

Introduction

KFS will be implemented over the next three years, in three distinct "phases." This phased approach will allow the campus community to become familiar with the system over time; feedback from the early users of KFS will assist in the final development of the second and third phases.

During the phased implementation, DaFIS will continue to be used for any modules not yet implemented in KFS. DaFIS use will discontinue after the third and final phase of KFS is completed in 2012.

Decision Support (DS) will continue to be the UC Davis financial reporting tool, even after KFS has been fully implemented. Changes will be made to DS during each phase of KFS implementation so that the DS reports will include the appropriate KFS transactions for that module.
