What is BPI?
The Business Process Improvement (BPI) is an initiative to map Business Contracts and Purchasing processes in order to:
- identify areas for greater efficiency in existing work methods
- implement more streamlined procedures that increase the effectiveness of work flow and customer service.
Why is BPI needed?
Some of the current purchasing and business agreement processes are redundant and/or paper-based, resulting in a lack of timely and accurate information in one central location and delays in order processing and fulfillment. The BPI will look at the current challenges in the areas of Purchasing/Business Contracts and develop solutions that can mitigate those challenges.
