The Effort Calculator

This tool is available within the Effort Commitment system in order to assist users in determining the correct effort commitment percentage to enter. The Effort Calculator does not store any data; it simply assists the user in determining the appropriate effort commitment percentage that can be returned to the Effort Commitment Maintenance entry screen.

You can also access the calculator directly. Note: This will allow you to calculate and view percentages, but if you wish to apply the calculations to a specific individual, please follow the steps below.

How to get there ...
1	Enter the criteria on the Effort Commitment Maintenance screen to proceed to the edit fields
2	Click on the search button next to the Effort field to access the Effort Calculator
3	The Effort Calculator includes entry fields for Academic Year Appointment, as well as Summer Salary
